Are You Busy With Commercial Real Estate Yet?

Add

For some, 2010 has already been kind, commissions have already been earned with promises of more to follow. And yet for others the struggle is still there – two extremes. Now of course I realize a piece of the puzzle depends upon what your niche is and where you are located but after much thought and conversation with numerous clients it is my belief a couple of things set these two groups apart (the haves and have not’s) – Annual Planning and Mindset.

Fact: Those who have invested the time, effort and energy into planning for 2010 will have a significantly better chance of achievement then those who didn’t. Pair that up with a positive mindset and you’ll be unstoppable.

Let me explain. . .

Annual Planning – This is not rocket science and yet fewer then 3% of the professional population does this! If you don’t know what you need to achieve this year I can make you a promise – you won’t! And annual planning actually induces optimism!

If you haven’t already, please spend time identifying a few things. How much you need/want to earn, how many deals this will entail, and 3 prospecting activities you will use weekly to accomplish this.

Mindset – The number one attribute that Billionaires share is their optimistic attitudes – this alone is convincing of its importance isn’t it? Do whatever it takes to stay away from anything and everything that can potentially impact you negatively. People, news, environments.

And every single day ask yourself what you can do today to maintain a positive mental attitude – just taking action goes a long way here.

And remember, it’s not too late. . .the year has just begun!
